Last night the spring broke on our garage door. I did a google search and selected Precision Door because I could schedule an online appointment. By 8:00am this morning, I had received a call from the technician, Mike, letting me know he was on his way. He assessed the door and discussed options. We made our selection and he got to work. As he worked, he found other parts that were damaged and needed replacing. All of this work was done for the agreed price without and additional increase. Mike was very professional and completed the entire job in less than two hours. We are very pleased with the excellent and rapid service we received and would not hesitate to recommend them. He also showed me how to reset my garage door opener with the battery backup. He also made a minor adjustment to the springs on the door. There was no charge for his service. The new garage door cables and sensors I had installed 14 months ago appeared to be balky and then I was unable to get the drive chain reconnected after disconnecting. Steve, the Precision technician, arrived at my home within 90 minutes of my call for help. Steve demonstrated what I was doing incorrectly with the disconnected drive chain and that problem instantly disappeared. Then the overhead door that had bounced and refused to close, again and again, quietly and quickly, closed for Steve. Could have been balky due to even a light buildup of ice/snow from recent storms, Steve said. Everything looked fine, Steve told me and should work for years. Steve's explanations and advice were priceless, but so was the service call, literally. No charge! Thank you, Steve and Precision.
