My 21 year old Genie garage door opener decided it had enough lifting and lowering my garage door yesterday. It waited until the car was in the garage and then slammed shut 3' from the floor. I put this opener in myself, a rebuilt unit from Bargain Outlet, that I got for a good price. In the course of the 21 years, I had a counterweight spring break (boy that will wake you up) and replaced both of them figuring the other side wasn't far behind. The replacements I got were I little weaker than what I needed, but I had no one to advise me at the "Big Box Store". Being 78 years old and retired and not moving as easy as I used too, I looked on line who was close to me and who had good reviews. Precision Garage Door Service met both criteria. Called and got an appointment the next day. Was told the tech would call ahead when he was about a half hour away (he did). Steven was very knowledgeable. He figured out that the springs were to weak for the wood door I had; that the screw drive was stripped out because of the weight it was pulling up and down for so long. "How much to replace the opener and springs?" I asked. "Paying how?" was his reply. "Check" was my answer. He starts pushing numbers on his phone and comes up with number just a tad over $1200. "Well ToTo, we are definitely not at the Home Depot in Kansas". I had recently got a check from the bank because the government forces you to pull a percentage out of your IRA when you are over 70. So I went with it. In 2 hours he was done. I got two remotes, a new outside key pad, a great warranty and door opener that is so quiet when it's working, you would think the belt drive is moving threw a column of wipe cream and when the door comes to rest, it's like it landed on a hundred bags of marshmallows. In closing, I wish I got Precision to do this job 21 years ago. Good People, Good Product, Great Service.

I have a manual door and I needed a new lock put on and I thought it was a little expensive over $200. I just thought it was a little expensive. But on the flipside, the tech was very friendly and explained what he was going to do and was actually a lot earlier than they said that they were going to show which helped me out.

My garage door spring broke at 2 PM rendering my door completely closed. I called Precision and was impressed with the entire experience from the initial phone call with the woman who answered the phone to inquire about service to the completion of my repairs. The super quick response was appreciated.The tech Mike was professional, friendly and courteous, explaining all of my repair options and the total costs. Mike also explained the whole repair process along the way and encouraged me to ask any questions. I was totally pleased with the work done and Mike’s performance. I will be needing a garage door opener shortly and rest assured I will be calling Precision when it’s time to purchase. I will also be asking for Mike as the Tech again because he did such a great job with the repair.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service experience I had with your company. I was extremely disappointed with the misleading information I was given and the overall unprofessional conduct of your representative. I was told I needed services that were completely unnecessary. Rather than assisting with the simple task of resetting my passcode, your representative attempted to pressure me into purchasing a new remote control or an entirely new door system—neither of which I needed. I found this approach to be deceptive and inappropriate. Additionally, I was initially quoted $149 for the service, which I believe was excessive given the circumstances. Only after I questioned the charge was it reduced to $79, which further raised concerns about the integrity of your pricing practices. Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable doing business with your company in the future and would not recommend your services to others. OUTSTANDING experience, all around! Easy to book a next day appointment. The technician gave a call when they were on their way, and was very knowledgeable and thorough with explanations and the multiple portions for levels of service/product available to complete the repairs/upgrades. A spring broke on my garage door. I called Precision and they sent Anthony Femano within 2 hours. Anthony looked at the door and gave me options of what could be done to fix it. He had everything on his truck and the door had all new parts and a 10 year warranty. Anthony was done within 2 hours. He was courteous, professional, efficient, friendly, and explained everything to me. A pleasure to have a company and employee for their company that knew what he was doing and helped me immediately so I could use my garage door with winter right around the corner. THANK YOU!!!! I called late in the morning, and the installer, Anthony, was at my home by 4 p.m. the same day. He was extremely professional and fully explained what was needed. I had been considering installing an opener. He went over the options and said that he had all of the materials in his truck to do the installation. He did not pressure me in any way to purchase the opener. While examining my door, he recommended that the springs should be replaced, as the original springs had failed much earlier than they should have (the reason for my original call to the company). He had to correct a couple of errors that the original installer had made, which made Anthony's job somewhat more difficult. I would fully endorse Precision Garage Door for any of your garage door maintenance issues or installations.
